Der Drakensberg Boys Choir - ein Kunde hat uns auf diesen bemerkenswerten Jungs-Chor aus Südafrika aufmerksam gemacht. Immer noch nicht selbstverständlich, dass schwarz und weiss in diesem Chor zusammensingen, noch erstaunlicher aber die Repertoire-Bandbreite, die sich auf dieser Kompilation offenbart: Klassisches Liedgut steht neben Kirchensongs stehen neben Pop steht neben taditionell südafrikanischen Liedern, und das alles auf einem Niveau, das Gänsehaut macht.
